2021-2022 School Year

The District is planning for students to return to full-time, in-person instruction, beginning in the 2021-22 school year. The Board of Trustees and the District leadership team firmly believe that the educational needs of students are best met in-person, in the classroom, with their teacher. However, they also realize that a remote learning option may be the most prudent choice for some students/families given their medical or other extenuating circumstances.  To help us better prepare for the fall, please fill out the following survey. Please complete this survey for each student so we can better gauge the need by grade level.
 
Please review the following descriptions :
In-person instruction- Will take place five (5) days a week at each school site. It is our traditional school program using Santa Clara County and local safety precautions that allows a safe in-person school program. All school activities and the instructional day will return to pre-pandemic conditions, and COVID-19 mitigation measures outlined by state and local public health officials.
 
Remote Academy instruction
EESD will offer an Elementary Remote Learning Academy option for students.  The Elementary Remote Learning Academy is the District’s new, fully online, and teacher-directed learning program for students in transitional kindergarten through Grade 6.The Remote Learning Academy is in response to the number of families who have indicated an interest for their child(ren) to continue their education remotely for the 2021-22 school year. The academy will take place online, five (5) days a week.  The program will be virtual, and students will be assigned to schools that are housing the virtual academy. The Remote Learning Academy is open to all EESD elementary students. The program will be a combination of virtual live and asynchronous instruction.

Your responses are intended to help with planning and if you choose to apply for the online, virtual academy for the next school year you will have to complete a separate application.  This will allow us to gather your information so that we can reach out with that next step if you are interested in your child attending online next year.

El Distrito está planeando que los estudiantes regresen a la instrucción presencial de tiempo completo a partir del año escolar 2021-22. La Mesa Directiva de Educación y el equipo de liderazgo del Distrito creen firmemente que las necesidades educativas de los estudiantes se satisfacen mejor en persona, en el salón de clases, con su maestro. Sin embargo, también se dan cuenta de que una opción de aprendizaje a distancia puede ser la opción más prudente para algunos estudiantes / familias dadas sus circunstancias médicas u otras atenuantes. Para ayudarnos a prepararnos mejor para el otoño, complete la siguiente encuesta. Por favor complete esta encuesta para cada estudiante para que podamos evaluar mejor la necesidad por nivel de grado.
 
Revise las siguientes descripciones:
Instrucción en persona: se llevará a cabo cinco (5) días a la semana en cada escuela. Es nuestro programa escolar tradicional que utiliza las precauciones de seguridad locales y del condado de Santa Clara lo que permite un programa escolar seguro en persona. Todas las actividades escolares y el día de instrucción volverán a las condiciones previas a la pandemia y las medidas de mitigación de COVID-19 delineadas por los funcionarios de salud pública estatales y locales.
 
Instrucción de la academia remota
EESD ofrecerá una opción de Academia Virtual Primaria para los estudiantes. La Elementary Remote Academy es el nuevo programa de aprendizaje del distrito, totalmente en línea y dirigido por el maestro para estudiantes desde el jardín de infantes de transición hasta el sexto grado. La Academia Virtual es en respuesta a la cantidad de familias que han indicado un interés en que sus hijos continuar su educación de forma remota durante el año escolar 2021-22. La academia se llevará a cabo en línea, cinco (5) días a la semana. El programa será virtual y los estudiantes serán asignados a las escuelas que albergan la academia virtual. La academia virtual está abierta a todos los estudiantes de primaria de EESD. El programa será una combinación de instrucción virtual en vivo y asincrónica.

Niên khóa 2021-2022

Học khu đang có kế hoạch cho học sinh trở lại học tại trường toàn thời gian, bắt đầu từ niên khóa 2021-22. Hội đồng Giáo dục và Ban lãnh đạo Học khu tin chắc rằng các nhu cầu giáo dục của học sinh được đáp ứng một cách tốt nhất khi học trực tiếp, trong phòng học, với giáo viên của các em. Tuy nhiên, họ cũng nhận ra rằng việc học tập từ xa có thể là lựa chọn thận trọng nhất đối với một số học sinh/gia đình do sức khỏe hoặc các hoàn cảnh khác của họ. Để giúp chúng tôi chuẩn bị tốt hơn cho mùa thu, vui lòng điền vào bản khảo sát sau. Xin quý vị điền một bản khảo sát riêng cho từng học sinh để chúng tôi có thể đánh giá nhu cầu theo khối lớp tốt hơn.

Chương trình học trực tiếp:
Sẽ diễn ra năm (5) ngày một tuần tại mỗi trường. Đó là chương trình dạy học truyền thống của chúng tôi, sử dụng các biện pháp phòng ngừa an toàn của Hạt Santa Clara và địa phương để có được chương trình giáo dục an toàn tại trường. Tất cả các hoạt động của trường và ngày học sẽ trở lại như trước khi có đại dịch, và các biện pháp giảm thiểu COVID-19 do các viên chức y tế công cộng của tiểu bang và địa phương được xác định rõ.

Chương trình học từ xa Remote Academy:

Chương trình được tổ chức trực tuyến và học sinh sẽ được chỉ định vào các trường có chương trình dạy trực tuyến này. Chương trình này nhận tất cả học sinh tiểu học EESD. Chương trình sẽ là sự kết hợp của việc giảng bài trực tuyến và học sinh làm bài độc lập trong giờ học.

Các câu trả lời của quý vị sẽ giúp chúng tôi thiết lập kế hoạch và nếu quý vị quyết định đăng ký cho chương trình học trực tuyến trên mạng cho năm học kế tiếp, quý vị sẽ phải hoàn thành một đơn đăng ký riêng.
